Local businesses fund the site, and the products below are the whole list. Prices are published, payment is by card, and nothing runs without a clear label.
Free basic listing
Every business with an address in or serving Alpharetta can have a free entry in the Alpharetta business directory: name, address, phone, website, category and opening hours, with “Call” and “Website” buttons. Claim it from the listing page or tell us about your business. Free means free. There is no upsell attached to the basic entry.
Featured listing: $24 a month (confirm: $19 to $29)
Your listing at the top of its category and in directory search results, marked “Featured,” with a photo, a 60-word description and a link to a sponsored post if you have one. Month to month, cancel any time.
Sponsored post: $120 (confirm: $99 to $150)
An article about your business, event or offer, written from your brief, published on the site with the label “Sponsored” above the headline and shared in the weekday email under the same label. Stays online permanently. We will tell you plainly if a claim in your brief cannot be published as written.
Promoted event: $8 (confirm: $5 to $10)
Community events are listed free in Things To Do. A promoted event gets a pinned position for the week before the date and a line in the weekday email.
Newsletter sponsor: “Presented by [your business]”
One sponsor per weekday issue, named in the header (“Presented by”) with a logo and a 50-word message near the top. Sold by the week or the month; price on request because it depends on the list size, which we will show you.
Section sponsor: “Athlete of the Week presented by [your business]”
The high school scoreboard and its weekly Athlete of the Week feature carry one exclusive sponsor. The same is available for the Police and Fire log, the real estate transfers column and the weekend guide. Price on request.
What we will not sell
- Anything labeled as news. Sponsored content is always marked “Sponsored” or “Sponsored Content,” newsletter sponsorship is “Presented by,” and supplied releases run as “Press Release.”
- Placement inside a news story, coverage in exchange for advertising, or removal of a story.
- Health, financial or legal claims that the advertiser cannot put in writing.
